The pathway of my life is paved with good intentions. When I joined Logos II 16 months ago I intended to communicate regularly via blog. I intended for those posts to be unusual and creative, provoking thought and interest. However, they ended up sporadic, difficult to scribe and unnecessarily wordy. Eventually last summer I gave up. Now I have started again, with equal good intentions. This time my posts will be concise, informative and humourous. I will leave you to be the judge of their success.
And just as I have started afresh in my communicative aspirations, so Logos Hope has finally left the cold and windy shores of Germany and sailed to Sweden, where we will stay for “a few” weeks. Ironically, the majority of those on board did not actually get to sail with the ship! Because we have yet to achieve the coveted Passenger Ship Safety Certificate,
we had to sail as a cargo ship and were restricted to about 80 essential crew. The rest of us slept on a church floor for the night and took a bus the next day! Ah the luxury of the “missionary” lifestyle!
I look forward to reading
Blessings upon you
